Distinction Between Sacred Rituals and Witchcraft

I explain to a student why I do not perform ritual sacrifices (matambiko) for others, as my role is that of a guide and "map drawer" rather than a sorcerer & the importance of honoring one's own ancestors and lineage at their original family altars rather than seeking external magic.

My Role as a Guide and Map Drawer

I want to clarify my position to the student who asked if I could perform rituals or sacrifices on their behalf to settle their affairs. I am not a traditional healer or a sorcerer; I am a guide, a seer, and a "map drawer." My work is to show you the path, to tell you where to start and where to strike, but I do not perform the ceremonial acts for you.

Honoring the Wisdom of Elders

There is a profound power in the elders whom many people nowadays tend to despise. I share the story of a student from Mbeya who traveled from Dodoma to see me; I guided him to seek out the elders who hold deep knowledge. By reconnecting with his roots and reclaiming his ancestral land and graves, he is now successfully resolving legal and spiritual battles that had lasted for years.

The Error of Seeking Sorcery

I strictly refuse to perform rituals for others because true rituals should be done at your own ancestral home, not at a stranger's or a "witch doctor's" place. I once had a student who went astray by taking a goat to a sorcerer. I told him that instead of giving that animal to a stranger, he should have shared it as a meal with his own family to remember and honor his ancestors.

Redefining Sacrifice and Worship

When you perform blood sacrifices in the streets or at the houses of strangers, that is not a holy ritual—that is witchcraft and sorcery. True "matambiko" is an act of remembrance and honor performed at the source of your lineage. You must return to your roots and your family’s foundation to perform these acts of worship and connection with your ancestors.

Rejecting Foreign Deities and Brainwashing

I stand firm in my convictions because I know where I came from. For a long time, many of us were lost because we abandoned our original rituals to follow foreign gods. We have been brainwashed to call upon foreign saints while neglecting our own "Guardian Angels"—who are simply our own ancestors. Why should we use foreign names for holiness when our own lineage is sacred?

The Importance of Family Representation

When you provide a sacrifice, it should be eaten by the children and relatives of your lineage because they are the living representatives of your ancestors. Giving your wealth or sacrifices to strangers in the street while your own bloodline is neglected is a mistake I will never support. Even the ancient texts show that figures like Hannah went to the mountain every year to offer sacrifices; I follow that path of discipline and ancestral honor.
